Bain CapitalBain Capital is one of the world’s leading private investment firms with approximately $180 billion in assets under management. Founded in 1984, Bain pioneered a consulting-based approach to private equity investing, partnering closely with management teams to offer insights that challenge conventional thinking, build great businesses, and improve operations.

Bain Capital Real Estate (“BCRE”) was formed in 2018 and pursues investments in often hard-to-access sectors underpinned by enduring secular trends that drive long-term demand growth for real estate assets and services. The BCRE team has been executing its strategy since 2010 (formerly as a part of Harvard Management Company), having invested and committed $7.7 billion of equity in over 575 assets across multiple sectors. BCRE focuses on assets where the team applies its deep industry expertise to accelerate impact and drive operational improvements. BCRE’s strategy aligns with the value-added investment approach that Bain Capital pioneered and leverages the firm’s global platform and significant experience across asset classes to further bolster its insights.

Since 2019, BCRE has been investing into and developing similar purpose-built creative production hubs in Los Angeles alongside developer, owner, and operator BARDAS Investment Group under the Echelon brand. Bungalow Projects marks BCRE’s second venture into developing best-in-class film and television production campuses, this time in New York City.
